I have worked in mainstream schools for over 20 years in a variety of roles. Coordinating the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award shaped my passion for learning beyond the classroom, where students are challenged to step out of their comfort zones. Within this role, I loved supporting students to build confidence, develop resilience, and grow as future leaders.

As a parent of two past School for Student Leadership students, I have been fortunate to see firsthand the powerful impact of the SSL program. This experience led me to jump at the opportunity to take a teaching position at the Gnurad-Gundidj campus.

I’m especially excited to work with Year 9 students, as this is a pivotal time for growth, challenge, and self-discovery. When not at work, you’ll find me riding one of my bikes, surfing, or spending time with my family on our small property outside Warrnambool.
