Bronson Valpied

Having worked in education for over 20 years, not only here in the south-west of Victoria, but also in Argentina and England, I feel extremely privileged to be the Campus Principal of Gnurad-Gundidj Campus, as the School for Student Leadership is such a unique and enriching environment for students to live and learn in, complemented by the requisite challenge and resilience building that comes from spending an entire term away from home.

When not at work, for the majority of my life I have dedicated much time exploring our world by trekking with a backpack, ranging from the most densely populated places to the uninhabited wilds of South American jungles and encountering the varied peoples from these places. My other interests are playing guitar, listening to music, reading and exercising.

Human relationships and the opportunity to learn from those we meet is one of the aspects of life that I love the most and teaching in a residential setting creates the optimal scenario for this to occur. I am genuinely fulfilled by being part of the community at Gnurad-Gundidj, as well as being involved in such an innovative and fun educational environment.
