Sara Magnusson

Since graduating from the University of Ballarat in 2011 as a Physical Education and Humanities teacher, I have been exposed to a wide range of experiences, all of which have allowed me to develop personally and professionally. I have worked across the world in Europe, the UK, Canada and China. I love meeting new people and learning about them, which is one of my favourite aspects of working at the School for Student Leadership.

I have dedicated a large amount of my personal time to travelling and exploring the world. This is a true passion of mine. I’m happiest when on an adventure with my little family. I love the outdoors; prioritising waterskiing, skateboarding , surfing and hiking. Wherever possible (and as much as possible) weekends are spent away in the campervan, camping with my partner and little boy. I also try hard to learn Spanish and play guitar, but at the best of times still consider myself a novice (but I keep trying!).

It is a privilege to work with students from schools across Victoria who take on the opportunity and adventure to attend Gnurad-Gundidj.
