Kat Beaton

Hi I’m Kat and I’m really excited to be a new member of the Gnurad-Gundidj team. I first developed a love of working in the outdoors with young people when I worked as a leader at Mittagundi, an outdoor education centre in northeast Victoria. Since then, I’ve taught various subjects in secondary schools, worked at a year 9 residential program on King Island and taught grade 4/5/6 teacher at a Montessori school. I am passionate about hands-on, experiential and outdoor learning.

In my own time, I enjoy going on camping and bushwalking adventures with my family, playing violin, mountain bike riding, yoga and cross-country skiing.
